Step into the world of rollercoasters and engage with our experts to see what it takes to build a world-class ride. Discover how acceleration, height, and G-Force shape the experience by exploring the design and construction process. Students will explore the important role engineering plays in the design, operation and maintenance of attractions, while taking a closer look at a rollercoaster alongside an industry professional. A great real-world session for students interested in STEM, engineering and innovation.

Tourism

Explore how a major tourism attraction operates. We’ll dive into our key visitor markets - local, domestic, and international and how we work in each sector to drive tourism to our attractions and the Gold Coast. Students will gain valuable insight into how we attract, manage and deliver memorable experiences for guests. Wildlife

Explore WILD with Australian Geographic, where learning comes to life. Guided by our expert wildlife team, students will explore the habitats, behaviours, diets and fascinating adaptations of Australian species, while learning how these animals survive in the wild and the important role conservation plays in protecting them. With plenty of engaging facts and the chance to meet one of these remarkable animals up close, this session brings wildlife learning to life.

Gain an insight into the world of marketing at Dreamworld. Discover how we bring our brand to life through campaigns, social media and partnerships, and how we connect with our customers to stay competitive in a fast-moving tourism industry. Ideal for students studying business, media or marketing.

Work Health & Safety

Explore how safety underpins day-to-day operations across Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, and SkyPoint. Typically guided by one of our qualified Safety team members, students will learn about PPE, hazard identification, risk management and the steps involved in building safe work practices in a dynamic environment.

Hospitality

Join one of our experienced Commercial team members for an engaging insight into hospitality at Dreamworld. Students will explore how our commercial outlets operate, while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Students will also learn about staffing, training, upskilling opportunities and menu development across peak and off-peak seasons. Depending on operational availability, there may also be the opportunity to step inside an industrial kitchen for an added real-world perspective.

Take learning to the next level at SkyPoint

Looking to explore geography from a whole new perspective? From 230 metres above Surfers Paradise, SkyPoint Observation Deck offers students a breathtaking 360-degree view from our sparkling coastline to the lush Gold Coast Hinterland, and all the way down to the New South Wales border. It is a unique opportunity to experience the landscape, coastline and urban environment from one of Queensland’s most iconic vantage points.

No, you don’t it is optional. You’re welcome to visit Dreamworld for a leisure day only.
